Armed Forces Day: Traffic restrictions in Dhaka Cantonment on Nov 21

Vehicular movement in Dhaka Cantonment will be restricted at specific hours on next Thursday (November 21), for Armed Forces Day celebrations, according to a media release from the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) today.
Various events will take place inside Dhaka Cantonment to mark the occasion, the ISPR said.
To ensure smooth traffic flow, the ISPR has requested all vehicles — except those carrying invited guests and personnel stationed at the cantonment — to avoid using the main road (from Shaheed Jahangir Gate to Staff Road) from 7:00am to 11:00am and 12:00pm to 7:00pm.
Commuters have been urged to plan alternate routes and avoid travelling through the cantonment area during these hours.
